Marlene Wolchinsky, a native of New York City, is the Director of Resort and Spa Operations. She has worked with Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital for eight years and has worked in several management roles within the hospital. Marlene understands the bond between you and your pets and that the team needs to be sure you are confident that your pets will get the best care at our resort. She makes sure every pet is treated as if she owned it. She loves spending time with her family of humans and animals (not necessarily in that order), which consists of dogs, cats, and a snake.

Becca Jurney, a Laurel native, has been working with animals for a little over 2 years and loves every minute of it. Becca started working in the kennel business because of a love of spending time with animals. Becca has owned various pets, including dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and birds, and currently has two dogs and two birds. In spare time, Becca loves to play with pets, spend time with family, watch TV, and read.

Haley Reed, born and raised in Columbia, Maryland, grew up with many different animals which sparked her passion to work with them from a young age. Her love for pets makes her a wonderful addition to the Rocky Gorge Resort Team, as she falls in love with each animal that comes through the door. In Haley’s spare time she loves to spend time with family and go on hikes with her two dogs!

Mario Tapia-Rojas has been around different kinds of pets and animals all his life, which is why he’s a wildlife biology major. Rocky Gorge Resort is his first job working with pets, which has helped him understand how to build relationships with cats and dogs. At home, Mario cares for his 3 year old pitbull mix named Turbo.
