Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital is one of the most advanced animal care facility in the Mid-Atlantic region. The main level, which is entered at street level, is the veterinary hospital which is devoted to animal health and client comfort.  The rustic yet dramatic two story waiting area is sure to make both pets and their owner’s extremely comfortable while waiting for services with large plasma screens posted throughout and a segregated child play room fully furnished.  The hospital features state of the art surgical suites, dental suites, intensive care units, treatment stations, exam rooms, and full service laboratory and pharmacy facilities. Rocky Gorge also has a full range of diagnostic tools that include digital radiography, ultrasound, and a CT scanner which will allow them to diagnose diseases quicker and with less invasive procedures. 

The lower level of the facility, which is entered from the side parking lot, is all about pampering your pet. It includes the Rocky Gorge Resort for Pets, retail sales area, grooming facilities, a large indoor Doggy Day Care, and a huge outdoor Dog Park . The Dog Park employs the use of  K9 Grass. K9 Grass is a state of the art synthetic grass that is manufactured with AlphaSan, an antimicrobial, which provides a clean, safe outdoor environment for dogs to play.

The Resort consists of spacious K9 suites, many with windows overlooking a forested creek, with high end finishes, and piped in music. The suites are supported by a state of the art diet kitchen which can meet any special diet requirements. The feline condos are large and have LCD screens for entertainment, and there is an indoor Kitty Play Park as well.

Another great amenity offered by Rocky Gorge Resort to its clientele is real time access to their pets. A client can log on to the internet and view their pet(s) in real time from anywhere in the world . Clients can also review what their pets have done, and where they have been throughout their stay due to RFID technology which is installed throughout the entire facility. 

The grooming facility has four grooming stations with large wash and drying rooms insuring fast, efficient, and comfortable grooming services.  Clients can stay and watch their dogs being groomed or view the grooming from anywhere over the internet. 

Doggy Day Care is a spacious indoor facility with large windows and a special “soft top flooring” for safety.  There are four 20’ by 60’ play areas outside for all sorts of activities for our pet clients.
